Juggle / Pop and tip

In chinese, 颠球. Juggling is a good practice for obtaining the good sense of touching and controling the ball. It could happen to lots of body parts, usually starting from both feet, then to knee, head, etc. When juggling with the feet, touch the ball with the middle part of laces. Seeing that juggling is hard to start, the practising phases could consist of: toss the ball and juggle with one foot once, and after you are doing good with that, toss and juggle twice, and then three times to even more. Then juggle between both feet.

Defense

后卫一般都要4个人,常见阵型比如433,4231或451。边后卫主要职责是防守对方边锋及对方在边路的活动,破坏边路进攻,同时可以插上助攻。中后卫分为突前中后卫和拖后中后卫,突前主要是为了盯守对方最有威胁的中锋,拖后主要是指挥防守,经常位于其他防守队员身后,在造越位战术中有用。

The several principles of defense:

  1. Keep close to the opponent forwards. The amatuer team always commit mistakes as this. I found little of such condition in World-class competitions, such as Worldcup.
  2. Put more defenses than opponent forwards. Can you imagine a team with less defenders than opponent forwards? Yes, it often happens sometime in amateur teams but not in World-class competitions, where the defense/forward ratio is about more than 2, e.g. at least 6 defenders to 3 opponent forwards.

If you once played as a forward, you will know that the weakest moment for a forward is just before him receiving a pass from a teammate. Therefore the defender should find such a moment and break in in time. As to the forward, he thus needs to run to appropriate position from time to time to stay away from defense and ensure the pass is secure.

The second weakest moment for a forward is when he carrying a ball at a very fast speed, and worsen is if there is a opponent defender chasing behind closely. The defense should be done by another defender to cut right into the moving direction of the forward and tackle the ball.

System

The reason is, Messi has been accustomed to the mid-forward region. 防守。
